    Heat oil in a pan.

    Add onion and fry for a few minutes.

    Add garlic and fry for 1 minute.

    Add diced peppers and cook for 5 minutes.

    Add paprika, basil and salt. Fry for 1 minute.

    Add tomatoes and cook together for 5-7 minutes.

    Wash rice and drain.

    Add rice to the pan and fry for 2-3 minutes.

    Add chickpeas and water.

    Bring to a boil, cover, lower heat to low and cook for 18 minutes.
