    Finely dice the onion and garlic, cube the carrots and add to a frying pan with the butter and cook for 10 mins. Then pour in the stock, tomatoes and cabbage, then leave to simmer for a further 10 mins.

    Meanwhile, fry the lamb meatballs in a separate pan until browned, then add them into the sauce pan with the orzo, cook for another 10 mins.

    Add in the seasonings and stir together well and cook for a further 5 mins until the orzo is fully cooked. Serve topped with a sprinkle of black pepper.
