Mix all ingredients and use a cookie scoop to evenly form meatballs.

Bake on a lined baking sheet at 375. Rotate after 10 minutes. Cook for 5-7 more minutes.

Add meatballs to the sauce to finish cooking for a few minutes.

Finely chop onions and garlic

Add olive oil to pot. Once oil is hot add onions and cook for a few minutes on medium low.

Lower heat and add garlic. Cook for a few minutes

Add tomatoes. Add some water to the can and add the rest of the tomatoes. Use a potato masher to crush tomatoes (or add to a bowl and crush with hands)

Add salt, pepper, fresh basil (can use whole leaves or chopped)

Cover and cook on medium low for 30 minutes or longer.

Add red wine and cook for 20-30 minutes.
Notes
Add some olive oil to your hands before rolling the meatballs to prevent mixture from sticking
