Add the oats, ground flaxseed, grated apple, milk, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground ginger and salt to a saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir well to combine.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer for 8-10 mins, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, in a skillet over medium-high heat, add the butter and heat until melted. Add the sugar, ground cinnamon and salt and stir until combined. Add the diced apples and toss until well coated and cook for 8-10 mins, until tender.

Serve up the porridge topped with the stewed apples, almond butter and a drizzle of honey. Enjoy!
