Cinnamon-Maple French Toast
French toast is the ultimate reason to be excited that your bread is starting to get old.

Vigorously whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, maple syrup and ground cinnamon. Set aside.

Melt a bit of butter in a frypan over medium heat.

Dunk a slice of bread quickly into the egg mixture, coating both sides. If your bread is very stale, you may need to soak the bread for longer. Place in frypan. Repeat with more slices to fill the pan.

Cook for about 3 mins on each side until the surface is golden, then remove from pan. Add more butter into the pan and cook remaining bread.

Serve with butter and a drizzle of maple syrup. Enjoy!
