a simple + tasty side dish with tender, crisp green beans with sautéed garlic, shallots, fresh lemon + sliced almonds toasted in butter.

    Heat large skillet over med-heat + melt butter.

    Add shallots + garlic + cook for 3-4 mins, or until fragrant + lightly caramelized.

    Add green beans along with 1 tbsp of water to pan. Cook, while tossing occasionally, until green beans are tender, about 4-5 mins.

    Season with salt, black pepper + lemon juice.

  5. 5

    Stir in half of almonds, reserving the rest for serving.

  6. 6

    Transfer green beans to a large plate + sprinkle with reserved almonds.

    Serve warm.
