Cheesy Tomato Meatballs with Toasted Sourdough

When you don’t have lots of time, I’m all for convenience as long as the taste isn’t compromised, and that’s where @dolmiouk comes in.

    Grate the onion with a wide grater and use your hands to squeeze out the excess moisture.

    Mix everything for the meatballs together in a bowl with a good amount of salt and pepper. Use your hands to roll into exercise balls and pop into the fridge for 5 to 10 minutes just to firm up.

    Take a large pan on a medium high heat with a little olive oil and add the meatballs and cook until golden brown on the outside.

    Pour over the Dolmio Sauce, turn the heat down slightly, add a lid and cook for 15 minutes.

    Plate up, serve with an extra grating of Parmesan, some fresh basil, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and toasted sourdough to mop up the delicious sauce.
