    Place a skillet over medium high heat. Add extra virgin olive oil, onions, and garlic. Cook until soft and translucent.

    Stir in the tomato sauce, italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper and mix until combined.

    Reduce the heat and leave to simmer for about 10 minutes and making sure to stir so it doesn’t burn.

    Add the parmesan cheese, pasta water, and ricotta. Mix until combined.

    Add the noodles and mix until combined.

    Top with more parmesan cheese and basil. Enjoy!!
