Ingredients

Sausage Egg & Cheese Filling

Sweet Rolls

French Toast Batter

Directions

    Combine sausage, egg, and cheese into a mixing bowl.

    Remove the top of each roll in a circular motion, similar to cutting a lid.

  3. 3

    Hollow out the inside of each roll, leaving a border around the edges.

  4. 4

    Fill each roll with a generous portion of the sausage mixture.

  5. 5

    Replace the top of each roll.

  6. 6

    Dip each roll into the French toast batter, making sure to coat all sides.

  7. 7

    Cook on a lightly greased nonstick skillet on a medium heat.

  8. 8

    Brown all sides.

  9. 9

    Dust with powdered sugar!


Notes

The filling keeps well in the fridge. We love to dip in syrup.
