    Bara: Mix all ingredients and knead to form a dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes. Divide into 4-6 equal portions and shape into balls. Flatten each ball into a disk shape.

    Channa (Curried Chickpeas): Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until softened. Add the curry powder, cumin, turmeric, and garam masala. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Add the chickpeas, water, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 10-15 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

    Cucumber pickle: Mix all ingredients and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

    Assemble the Trini Doubles by placing a bara on a plate, topping with channa, and serving with cucumber pickle and other toppings of your choice.
