A delicious dessert recipe using California grown dates as a natural sweetness

Ingredients

Directions

    Soak de-pitted dates in warm water for 5-10 minutes.

    Add dates to food processor with oats and pulse until base is formed.

  3. 3

    Press small spoonfuls into base of muffin tin, using thumb to make small indent in each.

  4. 4

    Make caramel by microwaving together ingredients for 40 seconds.

  5. 5

    Add spoonful to each indent. Let set in fridge for 10 minutes.

  6. 6

    Top each with melted chocolate and let set in fridge for 30 minutes.
