A recipe for a pourable custard enjoyed throughout the summer

    Combine milk and cream in saucepan with matcha. Bring milk mixture to simmer.

    Whisk egg yolks, sugar and vanilla in a medium bowl. Gradually whisk the hot cream/milk into the yolk mixture.

    Return the custard to saucepan. Stir over low heat until thickened. You’ll know it’s ready when the custard coats the back of the spoon.

    Strain sauce into a bowl. Cover and chill. Serve over your favorite fruit.
