Homemade Condensed Soup
A cost-effective and healthier alternative to Campbell's cream of soups

In a medium saucepan whisk together the milk and arrowroot powder (or cornstarch) until combined. Whisk in the seasonings, butter, and bone broth (or chicken bouillon).

Heat over medium heat and bring to a simmer, whisking occasionally. Simmer for 30 seconds or so, until it’s nice and thick. Remove from heat and use immediately or store in a glass jar in the fridge.

**for cream of mushroom soup, sauté 4 oz of mushrooms in 1 tbsp of butter before adding the milk and the rest of the ingredients

**for cream of broccoli soup, do the same as above but with broccoli
