Incredible Cheese Galette
It works well with strawberry and other berries.

Add cold, diced butter to the cold cottage cheese. Add flour and either cut it all together with a knife (right in the bowl) or mix with a blender.

Separate the egg white from the yolk, add the yolk to the dough, and mix. If necessary, you can add a little more flour if the dough is too sticky (this depends on the type of curd cheese you use).

Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and place it either in the refrigerator for 40 minutes or in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.

Wash and slice the strawberries, add sugar (if desired) and flour, and mix.

Roll the dough out (it should be 0.6-0.7 cm thick). Place the strawberries on the dough and fold the edges to form the galette.

Brush the edges with egg white and sprinkle with sugar. And bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes.
