    Add the oats, seeds, cinnamon, plant milk and a pinch of salt to a saucepan set over medium heat, simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring frequently, until the oats have softened.

    Divide the porridge between bowls, followed by some apple, blackberries, figs (if using) and a drizzle of maple syrup, adding a splash of cold milk if you like.
