    Set up dredging station by combining flour with 1 tsp salt in one bowl, eggs, milk and tabasco in a second bowl, and breadcrumbs, cornmeal, garlic powder, paprika and 1 tsp salt in a third bowl.

    Dredge tomatoes in flour, followed by the egg mixture and then finally into the breading.

    Complete process for all tomatoes while you heat oil to 350ºF.

    Carefully fry for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown and crisp.

    Transfer to wire rack or paper towel and season right away with salt.
