    Add garlic (if using) to this soup.

    Add the chopped sweet potatoes, onion, carrots, celery, and green beans to the pot.

    Add the butter, farro, stock, and water to the pot.

    Season with salt, pepper, and herbs de provence seasoning.

    Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the vegetables are tender.

    Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
