Spanakopita (Feta & Spinach Phyllo Twirls)

    Sauté the chopped onion with some olive oil.

    Add the spinach and cook for few minutes.

    To a bowl, crumble the feta cheese and add the onion and spinach mixture.

    Season the mixture with salt and black pepper.

    Start by laying out one sheet of phyllo, brush melted butter and top it with another sheet of phyllo. Brush butter and add the feta mixture to the end of the phyllo sheet and roll tightly. Turn it in coiled spiraled shape.

    Place it on a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Brush egg wash and top with sesame seeds and bake at 375 degrees F for 30-40 minutes or until golden.
