    Whisk together soy sauce (or alternative), vegan-friendly Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, maple syrup, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and warm water for the tofu marinade.

    Thinly slice or cube the tofu and place the slices or cubes in a baking dish.

    Pour the marinade over the tofu. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

    Arrange the marinated tofu in a single layer on a greased baking dish. Bake the tofu for 15-20 minutes, flipping the pieces halfway through to ensure even cooking.
