Perfect snack to have lying around, refuel after some activity or enjoy with a cup of tea in the afternoon.

Ad Flapjacks

Ingredients

  • g Flora Salted
  • g soft light brown sugar
  • tbsp. runny honey
  • sea salt
  • g macadamias and pistachios
  • g apricots
  • g cranberries
  • tbsp. chia seeds
  • g pumpkin seeds
  • g rolled porridge oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 150C.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the Flora salted, honey, sugar and salt, stirring regularly.
  3. Let it just come to a boil and then reduce to simmer for 5 minutes, stirring regularly.
  4. In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients, pour over the wet ingredients and spread into a lined 9x9 baking dish.
  5. Flatten evenly, be sure to scrape down the sides.
  6. Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes.
  7. Once out, cover with parchment and place something heavy on top of the baked flapjacks and let set in the fridge for at least 2 hours before slicing into squares.
