Roast your tomatoes with onion, garlic, olive oil and seasonings of choice at 400° for about 40 minutes.

Add to a blender.

Transfer tomatoes and all of the juices into a blender with about a cup or so of vegetable broth and some basil.

Blend your little heart out and you’ve got an incredibly flavorful tomato soup that will never make you want to buy store bought ever again.
