    Start by soaking the oats in the hot water for 2-3 min.

    Then add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a simmer in a pot until it thickens.

    For the apple compote add the ingredients to another pot and simmer until the apple softens.

    Transfer porridge to a bowl and top with the compote and biscoff spread!
