    Knead the dough until you can form a firm ball, roughly 5 minutes.

    Cut the dough in half, setting one in the fridge for later and the other one flattening into the bottom of a baking dish.

    Peel and shred 6 Cortland apples into a mixing bowl and add 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup flour and 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Mix to combine and layer on top of dough in the baking dish.

    Take the second dough out of the fridge and grate over top of the apple mixture in the baking dish. Set in the oven for one hour at 350 degrees.

    Once cooked, sprinkle icing sugar on top, cut into square slices and enjoy!
